2-0 yesterday

Akron +1'

This is the final remnant of the departed bracketbusters as Akron owes ND St a return visit.

Not a strong call at all because the Zips will struggle at times this season. ND State is not nearly the team they were in past seasons since Braun and other key players have graduated. They are also not particularly big and thats the kind of team that Akron has trouble with. First year coach also for the Bison. Akron's shooters have gone cold this year but if they can come alive just a little and some shots tonight they can notch a road win.

Was waiting for your thoughts on this one. NDSU has a 6 man rotation right now. Any foul trouble and they are toast. Jacobson is out. Guards do all the scoring. Inside game is trash.

If Akron is a consistent decent team they should win this game. If they are flaky etc then they NDSU might have a shot.

It sounds simple but it all comes down to making shots for the Zips. They seem to go as their wing players, McAdams and Kretzer. If one or both of those guys get hot the Zips offense is fun to watch. Also, Center Forsythe has done a good job of replacing some of the interior offense that was lost with the suspension of Treadwell. He should have a pretty good advantage over what ever ND State throws at him in the key. I would expect him to post up quite a bit tonight.

Thanks for the imput

What I was afraid of. Another team sleepwalking through their game in Fargo. NDSU plays 6 guys all game and Akron has done nothing to create foul problems. Ick.
