Ran into a familiar face today when I was downtown--the one and only GMan. He said to tell you and Spackler hi. He's not doing a lot of capping right now but still following the games.

Why Akron here? That team can't close a game to save their lives. As evidenced by their struggle against Western Michigan and Kent St. I just can't trust them.

That's fine

Akron is now healthier and a much better team than they were in early Jan. They are getting much better production from Johnson and freshman Williams who has really burst onto the scene become a major contributor. Not sure exactly what you mean by mentioning Kent State because they have not played this year. Also, I do like the fact that Akron are coming off of a loss in a stretch where they played 4 of their last 5 games on the road.

Buffalo is garbage without Bearden, so those are my reasons. I don't think this game will be close at all.

I'm with ya Pete,

Buffalo w/o Lamont is in trouble in deed. He aves almost 14 pts and 4 dimes per and is their best ball handler.

Zips had won 7 in a row before that tough loss to NIU on Saturday. I look for them to get back on track tonite.

Akron is clearly the side here

I truly feel bad for the Bulls fans and coach. Had they brought back the pieces that were expected to return this season they would have been a very, very good team. Hurly took a couple with him to Az St. Then the MAC's best player, Moss, can't stop himself from stealing from dorm rooms and is kicked out of school.Think about that one for a second. Moss had legit NBA talent and the bright potential for NBA paychecks and can't refrain from petty theft. When you add Bearden and his suspension for weed its just crazy what Buffalo has gone through there.Coach Oats deserves a medal for all he's had to manage, especially when considering his wife has been battling cancer throughout this entire mess.

To be clear though, I made this a large wager because of a favorable opening line and I'm up +35 and in a position to afford to take the hit should it occur.

This is still gambling and anything can happen in 40 minutes of play.
