again , no money on this game:

hey JAYS, way to treat your fans....

and riccardi, WAY to put a great product on the field.....

what is it now, 5 years in a row with third place...?

yes, we're content with mediocrity.

but man, don't promise us things that aren't within our grasp.

can't wait to see tanyon sturtze pitch....yeah, i'm sure he'll eat up all the innings while the jays are getting blown out 7-0....until they wake up in the eighth like every fawking game last season....

when was the last time i've seen the jays score in the first 4 innings consistently......?????

ANYONE?

honestly, watching this team over the last 20 years or so.....

if we CAN'T beat teams like the YANKEES on our own home turf, we've got no chance.

i know it's early in the season....but they're eerily looking like the same freaking "i don't care, let's go through the motions, oh, we're in the rebuilding stage again" team from last year.

and our "supposed" closer comes in after the YANKS are hammering us...and guess what....HE gets hammered in a "warm up" ninth inning session with nothing on the line.

nice boxscore:

IP H R ER BB SO HR PC-ST ERA
K. Escobar:
1 4 4 4 1 1 0 25-14 36.00
