reds have shown some signs of life the past week. they were left for dead a week ago today- but they took a couple games from the dodgers, and then from the padres. jennings has been a gas can for colorado this year after a solid rookie season. it seems like hitters are getting a much better read on him and hes not fooling anyone. reds capable of an offensive explosion in this ballpark.
kinda feel like this frisco/cubs line is trying to influence some giants money. san fran , at 18-6 on the year, is a home dog? and with one of their veterans on the mound? not trying to use azz-backward logic necessarily, but ill try wood and the cubs. my biggest gripe with wood is his control. hes capable of being the best pitcher in the entire national league- but his control is suspect from time to time. heres hoping he brings his good stuff tonight and has control of that nasty curve.
texas is simply a value play. both teams coming off high scoring series, and both bullpens arent overly fresh. i just think texas' bats have a little more pop and can win a slugfest here tonight
