Another great job G, ho hum... what else is new, so lets move on to tomorrow :

OU-5' vs Akron. It appears to be just a horrific spot on the schedule for the Zips. Peterson not expected to go again which drops the Zips to about a 50% free throwing team. Dead ass tired etc... Thoughts on this one yet?

im not really in a hurry to play ohio laying those points because i think the bobcats are a little overvalued right now. but like you said, akron is gonna have trouble at the line... but i also think theyre gonna have trouble getting consistent offense on the road. the tempo yesterday allowed for akron to get some easy baskets as well as some good looks for walther and mcfadden and those guys shooting 3s. but when toledo made them play halfcourt (which wasnt often), akron looked really unsure of themselves. peterson just provides a lot of stability for those young guys. that game will be a no play for me. terrible spot for the zips, but not confident in OU enough to lay 5.5. believe you were at the first meeting, but just glancing at the box score, akron really dominated the boards and OU shot sub-40% for the game. certainly a different bobcat team now, but while they are 10-0 at home, theyve needed late rallies in 2 of their L3 home games. and i actually trust akron's defense a lot more when it comes to getting stops. pass for me.

Yeah, I saw the first game, it was the game that Wood went down early. Akron was in complete control that night, but I'm expecting a far different game tomorrow. You are astute in your observation of the Zips offense. The Zips, and Dru in particular, are not running the offense with the efficiency that they displayed earlier. Yesterday they took advantage of Villegas (who could not guard his socks ) with some nice kick outs and Romeo has demonstrated the ability to strap this team on his back and just flat out dominate. That said, I think that the going will be tougher tomorrow. If there was ever a spot for the Zips to just mail one in it will be tomorrow.

Your probably right, a pass may be the best play of all, I thought we'd see a line of about 4 so we'll see how it moves. If it drops below 5 I'm in.
