va tech showed a lot of guts coming back in the second half against the buckeyes, even if they didn't get the cover.

early play for tomorrow as i feel the line will move against me:

ill +2: think all those young tarheels that were playing high school hoops about this time last year get introduced to big boy ball by the illini.

back tomorrow.

yep, i do have a side in the n iowa/iowa st game. redsfann, if you're out there, feel free to chip in here.

iowa st -3-: okay, here's the setup - iowa st is coming off an embarrassing dd home loss to iona saturday in the championship game of their annual holiday tourney, the first time they have ever lost a game in the cyclone challenge and their first non-conference home loss in 21 games. tonight, into ames comes instate rival northern iowa, the preseason favorite to win the mvc crown. last season, when these two teams met in cedar falls, the panthers put a 17 point pasting on the cyclones in a game that was flavored with pregame trashtalking, rough ingame play, and a midcourt exchange of expletives and threats between the coaches. now, if the iowa state players aren't motivated for tonight's rematch with northern iowa at home, on national tv, and on the heels of the iona fiasco, then they need to disband the basketball team and start a cribbage league.

back later.

love seeing all of the cribbageheads come out of the woodwork.

adding:

ga st +2- +111 and ml +146: splitting my money again, admittedly in a game where i don't quite understand the line. ul laf, a team uncomfortable in the role of road favorite, is playing their third straight road game in search of their first win. cajuns are a decent rebounding team but a little slow and generally poor shooting. ga st has a solid homecourt, does fine as a home dog, and is a speedy team featuring four senior guards that all get playing time. they already gave a bigger uncc team a good run in charlotte. i'll about always take the home dog with a decent reason, and i see several here.

other play:

added a unit on iowa st -1- +101, see the move as a personal slap in the face by joe p.

dayton +5 1st half: is it just me, or is cincy just not as scary without huggins? flyers not a bad team, and the rivalry ought to at least keep them in the first half.

also tossed a half unit parlay out there tonight on day +9-/col +3-, just because i'm feeling a little risky tonight.

hof/stj under 67 2nd half +111: shorthanded, hofstra appears to be scuffling. if the game gets out of hand, pace should slow. seems generous playing the game under 137 at a positive price.

cincy -7 -113 2nd half: time to middle cincy back against my parlay. flyers shot over 60% in the first half, i'm guessing that don't hold on the road for the whole game.

thanks javy

unc/ill over 77- +104 2nd half: see a good chance of a lot of endgame scoring in this one.

==== I had been leaning toward a play on No.Iowa UNTIL I read your write-up on the game ............ youwrote of intangibles that I was UNAWARE of and swayed me into a VERY NICE three unit winner on Iowa St. ............. THANK YOU :D ! ====

if you like sports, boating, fishing, hunting you would really like it up here. in the summer we get a bonus with cottagers and our population quadruples. this time of year you could fire a canon down main street and not a soul would notice.
