xavier (+6.5) over cincinnati
kicking myself for not grabbing the overnight 7 at pinnacle, but dont think it will matter anyway. im a big huggins fan and i still feel like this is his best team since the kenyon martin-led bearcats. but just cannot lay points in the crosstown shootout. with xavier losing some winnable gms lately, this becomes an enormous game for them. aside from beating their in-city rival, a win here can salvage their season and help their rpi. muskateers are really a desperate team. cincy also comes in with something to prove, as they very rarely have lost two straight under huggins. but just cannot go against xavier at home. they have been a great home team over the years (48-5 at cintas) and theyre not gonna let cincy come in there and piss on em.

adding: illinois (-3) over indiana
this line makes no sense. indiana hasnt lost at home in the conference and has a better big 10 record than illinois. ilini havent won a true road game since beating temple in late november. playing the illini simply based on the stupidity of the line. and since ive inexplicably hit 8 of my last 9 chalk plays, im sure this will find a way to win somehow. as an aside, i think illinois is the better team anyway. but the wacked out line convinced me to play em.
