Right-hander Scott Migl will get the starting nod on the mound for Texas A&M. The true freshman from St. Pius High School in Houston will be making his eighth appearance and third start of the season. He owns a 3-1 record and an ERA of 3.63. In 22 1/3 innings of mound work, Migl has allowed 20 hits and has 11 strikeouts.

Tuesday's Probable Pitcher
Wayne Graham announced the probable starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against Texas A&M as junior Chris Kelley (0-1, 3.70 ERA). Kelley has worked his way into six appearances with five starts. The right-hander from Sugar Land (Kempner High School) is fifth on the staff in innings pitched (24.1) and ERA (minimum 22 innings). He averages 7.0 strikeouts per nine innings of work. As the Owls' Friday night starter the first month of the season, Kelley often had to face the opposing team's top pitcher. The list of Kelley's mound opponents includes some talented pitchers such as Vanderbilt's David Price, Cal State Fullerton's Wes Roemer and Long Beach State's Vance Worley. In Kelley's first four starts the Owls hit a composite .255 behind him and averaged just three runs per game.
