Kentucky fix is in. I don't understand why you'd start fouling with 2minutes left and only down 8??? Even the announcer said the same thing...I don't understand....you get 2 stops it's a between 2-4pt game and then you can foul. He must've been on the fix.

the game was not a fix...i can assure you Billy Gillespie of all people is not fixing games for the total.

coaches do what you saw to give their teams real game practice on late game situations that would require them to foul and then make baskets and pressure and foul again. the chance of them winning that game by doing that already down 10 are very slim but it gives the team a real time feel for what the situation would be in a close game later in the year that would require a comeback.

Hardly, look at all of the losses I have. Only the losses that are clearly stupid...it's not in seriousness. If you don't like it follow someone elses plays.

Just because an announcer says it, doesn't make it right. There are quite a few announcers who don't have a clue about basketball. Please tell me what good in fouling down 8, with 2minutes left does??

Fouling late doesn't require practice. I forgot you and Billy G are tight.

Fouling with 2minutes left and only down 8 virtually puts the game in the hands of luck and breaks. Why foul? If you get 2 stops that puts you down just 4pts with 1minute left. I just don't understand it.

Why foul down 8 with 2 minutes left? Because the team will use at least 30 seconds to take a shot. Then assuming you get the board, its going to be at least 10 more seconds before you get a good look at a basket. Its strategy, and I think its a good one. Especially vrs a young Ole Miss team with inexperienced players. Force them to step up to the line under pressure and beat you there.

Apparently Billy G didn't do his homework because Ole Miss is one of the better FT shooting teams in the SEC + NCAAB.

I don't like the strategy at all. I think you get 2 stops, then impose the fouling strategy.

I'm assuming because as a coach I expect my players to play defense, get stops, and score when needed. You don't get that practice in-game by fouling like that.

To each his own I guess, but I know their is a lot of coaches who feel thats a good strategy. I taught my kids the same thing, and its not even so much for the come back as it is to teach them not to give up.

Baylor game was too easy. I was willing to take OVER anything 80 and under with big confidence. Just didn't see 2 scoring teams being held under 60pts

**Both teams here shot 50%, BYU shot 60% and they both hit 45%+ from 3's. Game should remain close throughout and hopefully one team doesn't pull too far away where we see dumb fouling.

My totals show 69 total pts for the 2H.
