Some of you guys know me by now.....And i love going against the public in all sports.....I also love going against the public when they bet a team because they need the game....And yes the Rangers need this game real bad.....They are 4 points out of the 8th and final spot in the eastern conference,they currently sit in 10th place 2 points behind Atlanta and 4 points behind Boston ....Must win for the Rangers....Let`s go with the Islanders -103 to rain on there parade. Let`s not forget the Rangers are the biggest NHL public play of the night at 64%.
Another team that is playing for their playoff lives is the Thrashers. They are in the 9th spot,2 points behind the Bruins who sit in the 8th and final spot. The Thrashers need this game in a big way. Atlanta played last night. They had a golden chance to get a win at home against the Canes and came up empty. Tonight is there season for the most part. After tonight they have 5 games left. 2 each against the caps and pens. 1 against the Devils. Back to back might be asking too much on the road. Toronto -143.
This line looks a bit light in my opinion.....The Hawks at 46-21 are only -121 in this game.The Blues are 36-30 and they have no shot for the playoffs. 59% on the Hawks.....Line dropped 9 cents from 130 to 121. Going with the Blues just because its to nice of a line on the Hawks. Blues +112
With this play here....I like going against teams with great records that are getting alot of points or have a high ML.....In this case you have Phoenix,they are having a great season at 47-23 with 100 points....The Canucks are 45-26 with 94 points....Technically the Coyotes do have the better record even though its close....Coyotes are playing better hockey at 8-2 last 10 opposed to the Canucks who are 5-5 last 10. And the Coyotes are decent on the road at 20-13. And they have beaten the Canucks twice this season. My point is,you have a 100 point team at +156...That`s to good too be true.....$100 will get you $156....I dont think that will happen.....Canucks -169
