my normal 20 minute drive home took 2 freakin' hours tonight. damn snow, and the idiots who can't drive in it. anyways... i have a huge play tonight. it's so damn easy, it scares me.

southern illinois (+1.5) 3 units. daniel ruffin is everything to this bradley team. they were 2-5 when he missed some time with a hernia. since his return, they are 8-2 (9-1 ATS) and playing some of the best basketball in the mvc. now the idiot gets arrested? they might have been ok without warren, but losing ruffin like this will likely kill the momentum this team had.

i'll post a few more in a couple minutes.

drake (-1.5) 1 unit. yeah, i know drake has the conference wrapped up and this could be a big let-down after the nationally televised win over butler, but they have lost 2 of their last 3 conference games and i have to believe they don't want to go into the tournament on a down note. missouri state doesn't have all that much to play for themselves. they can't fall any further in the standings, and they can only pick up one spot.

missouri (-5) 1 unit. ok st has picked up a couple big wins over the last week or so, but i'm still not sold on them as a quality team just yet.

vanderbilt (+2.5) 2 units. yeah, i know, even some of the guys on espn are calling this the 'ultimate trap game', so that bodes borely for this play. but i just think vandy matches up so much better with tennessee than memphis did. vandy has a true offensive post presence. and, oh yeah, there may be a slight letdown for the vols. a couple other factors... vandy is 6-0 at home in conference and tennessee has a revenge game with kentucky on deck.
