iowa (+1) i'd rather not bet this game, because now i'll feel obligated to watch this snooze fest. but osu has lost 4 of their last 5 road games (with the one win at indiana. does that even count?). gotta take the points.
duke (-12.5) florida state definitely seems to be the 'smart' play. but i'm not that smart. duke needs this game for their rematch with carolina to mean anything in the standings. the blue devils shot 25 more free throws AT florida state in an 8-point win. what's it gonna be like at cameron indoor stadium? the fact that fsu got TWENTY NINE more shots than duke in that game does alarm me. part of that is due to all the FTs duke shot, but part was also due to fsu's 40-28 rebounding edge. like i said, duke isn't really the smart play here. they haven't even been hitting their FT's down the stretch like a typical duke team.
