Doing my math last nite..I had XU-7-9...so I think this line is way off..I know XU beat them earlier in the year by...but XU has the talent.afrwe blowing out Marq by 19 the other day..meanwhile the 0-10 Johnnies were beaten by Butler70-45...Johnnies scored 45 points..Ponds their top scorer was 0-12.think they had 1 person score in double digits...Mullen is a terrible coach from teaching fundamentals to game day strategy..think he thought he was going to come here in Queens and just recruit some NYC blue chippers...although they can play some good defense on occasion there offense is a mess..XU is loaded..can score,rebound and play defense...that is why they are 12th in the nation..that is why box has a bet for them to win the NCAA at +400 or something like that...Goodwin is a solid pt gd ..Blue and Macura are better then outstanding...front court is big and can score...they have 4 starters back and have experience...add Scuggs and Marshall,,so much depth...think XU wins by double digits and have to look at the 1st half score...
URI -9.5 over UMass ****
That should be a double digit number...URI just got by a good Dukies team by a few..but they have won 12 straight,dominating the A-10 in wins and stats...Terrel is tough to stop..Mathews is 100% back and he last yr could of been the POY of the A-10 before ge got hurt..they are a top defensive team...UMass can't score or play defense.. they just lost to Fordham 82-69...what...they let Fordham score 82 points..also in the other game before they gave up 80 again...they are 12,th and 13th in offense and defense in the A-10..they have Pipkin a 5'11 gd who is a stud...stop him and Umass is in trouble...last time they played URI won 73-51....think the score will be even worse for Umass...UTR win by +15..
Auburn -4.5 over Mississippi ****
Everybody kinda slept on the Tigers but at 19-2 there ain't any more sleeping...they avg 86 pts a game...they have beaten a lot of SEC teams and on the rd.....pre-season picked 9th or 10th..they are on top now...say what you want about Pearl..last yr he played 4 freshman....he has a stud in Heron and has a few juco transfers...he has some kids that can hit the 3..outstanding backcourt and solid frontcourt.. meamwhile I watched Miss lose to Texas last saturday...85-72...Miss does have two nice looking gds in Davis despite scoring only 7 pts and Burnett...these two kids are really built and can shoot and handle the ball.. the 7'0 Olejnick had 16 points..breakout game for him...but lets wait a second..he only scorerd when Mamba was out..think he had 4 pts when Mamba was in...nice big kid with a jump hook but to mechanical...cannot make a move facing the basket..Miss's has a weak front line...
Buffalo-7 over Kent **
Not a big play but Bulls are loaded..they can score,rebound and play defense...every game there is another top scorer..they best Ohio by 7 and pushed when knuckehead CJ fouled a 3 pt shooter with 1.30 left on the clock...the Ohio played got his 3 plus his FT...think Kent might be a little better then Ohio...still think Bulls have to much offense for Kent...
Kentucky -10 over Vandy ***
Vandy upset TCU..cut the nets down..but you better put them back up...Cats upset West Vir...so both have some swollen heads...also Cats were knocked out of top 25 for the 1st time since the Medieval days..well they beat WV and there back in...Vandy is dangerous when those guys are hitting there 3's...but Kentucky has Knox,Diallo and Alex- and co...and will have a tough time playing defense...
Rutgers +6.5 over Illi **
RU cannot win on the rd in the B-10 but as long as they lose by 6 and under I;m fine...
Manhattan -8 over Marist **
If it was -9 I would of taken the Foxes...MC has much more talent then the Foxes...only Foxes Parker could start for the Jaspers...but that doesn't mean much in this conf...Jaspers are home,not a big crowd and only an hour bus ride from Poughkeepsie for the Foxes..if they hit traffic could be 3 hours to the Bronx...

I am 0-2 on my Jackrabbits...in last 2..the streak ends tonite with Daum and co winning big..Neb O can score though...think the Jackrabbit can scare the Maverick[its a pony right}...
