5 teamer, 1 unit bet pays 19:
Washington Nationals/San Francisco Giants Under 8 (-110)
Boston Red Sox/Toronto Blue Jays Under 8 (-110)
Los Angeles Angels/Houston Astros Under 8 (-115)
San Diego Padres/Colorado Rockies Over 10? (-110)
Milwaukee Bucks/Boston Celtics Over 203 (-110)
Seattle/Chi. White Sox-5:10 pm Gonzales (Volstad -- Gonzales off a good start for once! Means he'll probably be mediocre today, unless he isn't.....Volstad-4.66 ERA last season in 19 1/3 innings with 10 strikeouts, five walks, 4 hr. Had an excellent spring training...this bad CWS team finally off a win, so that probably means a new losing streak will start tonight...I'm on Seattle
Chi. Cubs/Cleveland-6:10 pm Chatwood (Tomlin -- Chatwood has 14 walks in 15 innings. Dunno when his command will show up, maybe still rusty?....Tomlin had bad debut on season, blamed his bad back. Rebound game had nice numbers, but was getting out of lots of jams, and team let him take it easy of late (just 1 relief appearance) to help that back...
Minnesota/N.Y. Yankees-6:35 pm Berrios (Sabathia -- Berrios been very good so far, just a little hint of his inconsistency. We'll se how he does against these bats, he should be good...Sabathia been serviceable, not go deep tho...I'd hoped MN would be bigger dog than this...
Atlanta/Cincinnati-6:40 pm McCarthy (Mahle -- McCarthy been good, his peripherals look nice, he just not going deep as they babying his bad shoulder... Mahle's had two good and two not so good starts, never gets run support in 8 career starts (except one last Sept at STL, so almost all unders) and always plenty of walks and hits. Maybe those Reds bats woke up finally and I might look at the home dog here. and under
Arizona/Philadelphia-7:05 pm Ray (Velasquez -- Ray been his usual ok but erratic self, 1.52 WHIP now, tho AZ is 8-2 his last 10 starts ... Velasquez off 3 fine starts, his 97 mph heater been very fine with lots of movement, not sure how long this will last, but I guess keep riding it...taking hot Phillies at home
Detroit/Pittsburgh-7:05 pm Zimmermann (Kuhl -- Zimmermann just not seem to have it this season, after injections for neck and back pain supposed to make him healthy for once... Kuhl off a rare really decent start, going into 6th inning!....Pitt and the over
Tampa Bay/Baltimore-7:05 pm Faria (Cobb -- Faria settling in nice last 2 starts after a rough 1st start of the season. He doesn't seem totally comfortable yet, maybe he will this start...Cobb signed to team late (March 21- $57 million deal fer 4 years) and he's having a problem getting up to MLB speed in that short time, he'll have a good start soon, maybe against his former squad here today...TB and the under
Boston/Toronto-7:07 pm Porcello (Happ -- Porcello been real fine, I guess just keep rolling with it....Happ been good of late too, was sharp last season vs Boston....taking that under...
Oakland/Texas-8:05 pm Triggs (Hamels -- Triggs off a bad start, but that's him. He should bounce back today, but ya never know....Hamels off yet another poor start, but at least he not give up a homer for once, and his rotten velocity we see here did pick up a bit. If he loses the decision today, that would be the first out of 13 Aprils he's suffered 4 losses...Oakland Athletics -118
L.A. Angels/Houston-8:10 pm Ohtani (Morton -- Ohtani has that blister problem, but ya know the team wouldn't start him unless they fully sure he's ok...Morton been more consistently lights out, but I like the value Los Angeles Angels +142 and that under
N.Y. Mets/St. Louis-8:15 pm Wheeler (Weaver -- Wheeler with better fastball and way better slider this season (read and look at it here!) and he's healthy for once .. Weaver off a blegh start, dunno what happened there, so expecting a better effort tonight.....under and that dog has some value
Milwaukee/Kansas City-8:15 pm Davies (Kennedy -- Davies, been his typical up and down self. Vs these bats, probably good...Kennedy got hit hard in last start, sorta overdue for that, now has 3.85 FIP, but should be ok vs these strike prone Brewers...don't look now, but Royals 2-1 last 3! oK, it was against Tigers....Brewers playing well, bullpen been lights out of late (KC pen about the worst)...Milwaukee -125 and the under
San Diego/Colorado-8:40 pm Lauer/Freeland -- ok, kid having his debut at Coors (believe it or not, 7 others have done this, although he is good at throwing strikes) and the home team pitcher having control issues - Over! and they say you always take the dog on the alt run line to make consistent money at this unpredictable place
Miami/L.A. Dodgers-10:10 pm Peters (Maeda -- Peters, he still pitching?....Maeda still seeking some consistency in his new approach...over and LAD runline
Washington/San Francisco-10:15 pm Roark (Blach -- Roark seemingly good of late (.180 BABIP!) and Blach is getting it together, so I'm on the under again considering these bats of late
