Good luck today, DT. NICE move leaving out the no. 2 in the first race; that one went off at 1/5 and ran out.

I really needed that no. 2 to run first or second to hit the zackta in that race cause I did have the no. 5 on my tickets... didn't happen

Running VERY late today and handicapping as I go along; that means I'll prob. won't get to post a thang.

Feeling really good about Philly shaking off the "favorites run" they had going on for about 3 straight weeks of wacin. I did get burnt for the first few days that started to happen but woulda got KILT if I didn't decide to take a vacation from wacin ..... and gave it to them footsbawlers instead. :cuss:

Not the best day @ Old Philly Park for me Jimbo. Cashed 3 Tickets totaling $57.00 for a net loss of $63.00. :shrug: Had a couple of nice horses come in @ good odds but could not pair them up. hmh

Working off a huge dinner by handicapping TOMORROW'S card (Fri) LOL I see one that interests me so, if you do something with the Philly dirt bombs tomorrow - here something I'm seeing in the 5th wace....

Ratings has 3 horses tied for the top spot - nos. 1,3,5. Surprised it likes the no. 5 and glad it does cause I've followed that one in the past. I don't think they'll bet this one down by much. It may not get bet down at all. Pantera is a VERY ERRATIC hoss; certainly not a handicapper's friend at all but sure is friendly to players who keep an eye out for a potential "good thang". Runs like a dirt bomb when it loses but looks/runs GREAT when this gelding wins. This one luvs Philly Park and luvs to pull off surprises even more, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it wins tomorrow. And that's despite the long layoff and also that it changed owner/trainer recently.

There is also one other horse in this 5th race that may have some VALUE, no. 8 at 10/1.This one's at least a SIDE BET for me.

IF I go the trifecta route, I'll have no. 1A and/or 1 somewhere on most of my tickets. Both of them are figure horses in this race.

Looks like the horse I focused on had his "Dirt Bag" body on today
There is one thing I forgot to mention about this one although I did hint at it with the stuff I wrote. That is, IF you bet Pantera as a straight, non exotic bet, do bet to WIN only cause that one usually fires BIG TIME or not at all like it did today. Today I bet it the exacta route (3 stinkin dollars OVER 4 of the other horses and 2 "stinkier" dollars UNDER the same hosses).

Now asfaras the "Side Bet" goes... OH YEAH, nailed that baby (5 semi-stinkin dollars across the board). Usually the SHOW spot would be for more with that kinda bet ($10) but you know what happens when I go overboard on a race.... yeah, PooPoo. OF COURSE, when I don't go overboard... this happens .... . .

Just got a L@@K at the prerace stuff for the 7th. It "L@@K" like no. 7, Mystical Rain, may try to steal this upcomming wace if the no. 8 and 1 don't do the same. I know that M.R. usually comes to the track with an anchor though. BUT, if anybody out there does like the no. 7, I SURE AS HELL WON'T TRY TO CHANGE HIS/HER MIND.

btw, watch out for the no. 1 in this race, ... side bet, anybody?

I doubt there was enough time for anybody to play that race when I posted it even though they were just getting ready to loadem when I did post and that usually takes about 2 mins for a field this size.

Whatever the case is... I gotta get out my 2015 calender and mark Good Friday as "SIDE BET Friday" for next year. That there no. 1 paid off (in zackta) as a side bet. Got lucky enough to have the exacta mate on my ticket. You know that there no. 1 was 8/1 when I bet it and went off at 4/1 on the last click.
Hmmm.... maybe some "Guest" did get it in? LOL.

Race 5 and they would be 1, 7, not necessarily in that order. Oh.. .. the bad news is that one of them PROB. will be favored.

I'll be using the no. 7 in TRIes (has to finish 1st or 2nd to have a shot) and the no. 1 either in zacktas or as a good ole side bet.
