NETS + 5 1/2.............Cavs beat up on the Mavs, but they were due for a lost. Right now, i just don't think you can be giving the Nets points right now. With Carter joining Kidd in the backround, they have really stepped up their game. Nets are looking to get into that final playoff spot as well, where they are 1 1/2 games back. Nets have won 8 out of their last 11 and have won 2 in a row vs the Cavs. The loss of Vaughn will hurt a bit for the Nets, but if anything, it has given Kidd some rest. You still have Travis Best coming into his place anyways. It is also possible Frank will consider something completely different by moving Brian Scalabrine into the lineup as the starting small forward and shifting Vince Carter to the shooting guard spot. The last time Scalabrine started was Jan. 28 and he scored a career-high 29 points. Coach Franks needs to show that the Cavs have been allowing oppts a avg of 100 pts/game the last 5 games.

for the late game

Rockets +1 1/2..........Rockets need to head to the M.A.S.H unit, because this team is banged up. I just think maybe getting out of Houston will clear their head a bit. They played the Suns well the other night, but they just weren't hitting their shots. Think of it this way, they held the Suns to 91 pts and 41 of those in the first half alone, so it wasn't like their defense wasn't playing bad. Yao Ming actually had a double double. Golden State will have some problems stopping Ming. If you don't believe me, look what Ming did to G State in 2 games this year allready.

15 pts/17 rebs
14pts/15 rebs

Its a big mismatch. I don't think Foyle, the Center from G St, is going to make a difference. He went to college at Colgate for god sake's. But anyways Foyle has only avg. 20 mins/game. Murphy may take his turns too, but he will probably fail. The backcourt of Richardson and Davis will be dangerous, but overall, the weapons of the Rockets will be to much
