was trying to pull the trigger on sixers plus the points, but in doing so, i came up with a play on the total.
total is currently at 205.5 to 206. looks to be going up.
gs just off a 6 game road trip - now at home with this one game (tonight) in 5 days.
sixers coming off consecutive wins, but against boston and new york, now at the beginning of a brutal 7 game road trip against the west, with a game tomorrow against sacramento.
both teams last played on saturday.
only 8 of philly's 26 games have gone over 206, with 17 of GS 29 going over 206 with one push.
when the total is 206 or less for GS, they are 10-3 to the over, when the total is 207 or more, they are 7-9 to the over.
when the total is 206 or less for philly, they are 12-11-1 to the over..in the two games where the total has beeen 207 or higher, the sixers are 0-2 to the over.
since the loss of iverson, philly has gone under the total 6 of their last nine. they haven't scored more than 98 points in their last 11 games.
i like the under tonight, as GS is without their second leading scorer ellis (17 ppg). GS is already playing with a short bench. in the two games in december where ellis had limited time - 20th vs boston he played 5 min - 2 points - winning 96-95. on the 23rd vs miami he played 19 min - 4 points - losing 105-92.
the only way i get beat is OT, as i just don't see either team cresting a hundred points tonight.
