might be back with more plays later - here's the first one I like...
1) Grizzlies - Celtics
This is the Grizzlies second game back home after a long road trip and they are hungry for a big win. They have dropped three of the last 5, but 4 out of 5 of these games were vs playoff-bound teams. In their past six games against the bottom-feeders (bottom 10 teams) they have outscored opponents by avg of 11.3 ppg. The Grizz have outscored opponents with losing records by 12.1 ppg in their last 10 matchups. The Grizz are 16-11-2 ATS at home and 6-3-1 ATS at home vs eastern conf teams.
The Celtics have won 3 of their last 5, but they faced three opponents with losing records, and if it wasn?t for the heroics of Pierce, they would not have won any of these games. In their last 3 wins, Pierce combined for an assist, three 3 pointers, four free throws, a dunk, and three jump shots,(including a ridiculous game-winning fade-away shot against the Wizards) ? all within the last 2 min of these wins (on avg).
It?s time for the luck of the Irish to run out? there?s still a few days until St. Paddy?s :toast:
