Toronto (Halladay) @ Seattle (Pineiro)
Going with the Mariners who bounced back last night from an embarrassing loss to the Indians and are back home !
Pineiro has been very solid since coming out of the pen, he is 2-0 with a very impressive 0.74 ERA, at home he has yet to give up a run with a 0.00 ERA. Halladay is 1-1 on the year with a 4.36 ERA, he has 2 starts vs. the Mariners going 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA his team is 0-2 in those starts.
Seattle is 33-13 as a home favorite, 36-16 at home and 58-20 against righties. The Blue Jays are 18-21 as a road underdog, 25-27 on the road and 44-47 vs. right handers.
The Seattle bullpen was humiliated the other night in Cleveland and I don't see that happening again as a matter of fact I think it may have helped bring them back to earth a little and look for them to pitch better from here on out. They are very solid at home with an ERA of 2.32. The Toronto bullpen has been okay with a 3.91 ERA but have given up 27 home runs on the road.
Allot of people are looking for the Mariners to falter in the home stretch but I think that big time comeback the Indians had the other night only helped the Mariners motivation, it let them know they are not invincible and Pinella is a very good coach and will have them playing great ball from here on out.
