Two plays:

Arizona 1st half ML +120 above average
Arizona game ML +130 above average

My largest plays combined so far this year. . . of course the year is early and thiss will not be as close to the amounts I lay down on system plays. I posted my reasoning under kevinmac99's thread and honestly don't feel like rehashing.

Gl! Might be my only play but we'll see. . .

Forget the points, I'm playing the MLs for the first half and game on Arizona.

One point I didn't make under kevin's thread:

Arizona has done quite well at Madison Square Garden in years past. . .

Best of luck to everyone

Well, I'll take that first half victory :D

Assures me that I come out a winner on the +20 juice no matter what.

To all Texas backers:

Your team is damn good. . . I'll admit. But I love how Arizona keeps fighting even though they don't have the depth. Will Arizona wear down the 2nd half? Based on conditioning, no. . . no chance. But if Andre and Hassan get in foul trouble, we could be in trouble.

Buckeye,

I was concerned about Arizona possibly fouling out with Frye, Adams, Igudola but each only has 2. I just don't know what to do here. . . Arizona could lose this one because Texas is so deep and talented. I think I'll sit back and watch.

Gl all!

One sign of hope is Arizona's defense has held Texas to 32% shooting. . . their big guys have been able to somewhat handle the big men of Texas.

Should be a great 2nd half. . .

Good question tendog:

The best system play that I follow and cash in every year is:

Play an unranked home favorite over a ranked road dog.

Reason is that Vegas knows better than those who vote in the polls. . . the larger the favorite, the larger the play.

Off to a great start after this past Saturday and a huge win tonight. . . looking forward to the rest of the season!

Thanks guys. . .while this was a part homer play because I know this team, it was actually based on two factors that stood out to me:

1. Arizona won a tough road game against St. Louis yet the public took it the other way.

2. Texas was nearly a 70% consensus selection yet they hadn't played anybody this year and they hadn't played a road game!

The fact that Arizona was perfect at MSG and against Texas the last seven (now eight) years was just more icing on the cake. It was a great situation to play any team but nice for me since the Cats are my team.

Regarding Texas and their backers: The Horns looked very good to me. . . they are the perfect team to take in the tournament this year. I feel they are ahead of Arizona as far as the Big Dance goes because they have great depth but we'll just see what happens. Kansas went far last year without a lot of depth so maybe my Cats can do the same.
