Tuesday Plays...

Well had a good night not posting tonight and hoping to continue a nice run tomorrow!

DePaul vs. UConn - Realize UConn crushed DePaul in this same matchup last year in the BE tourney and realize UConn will be inspired with Calhoun back. However, Blue Demons have shown me they can score recently and coming off their best game of the year. UConn is still a team with talent, but I believe a good team to fade laying a big number. Well let's hope anyway!

DePaul +9 for 5*

Pittsburgh vs. St. John's - Red Storm playing on their home court and facing a Pitt team which just crushed them last week. This young St. John's team should rebound before the home partial crowd and give this sad Pitt team trouble. Not sure they'll win, but I'll grab the points.

St. John's +6 (-120) for 5*

Md Eastern Shore vs. NC Central - Small play here, but noticed NC Central already beat this team by 31 and playing in their home state should be motivated to crush again. Any fans in attendance will be cheering for NC Central.

NC Central -10 (-120) for 2.5*

Penn @ Princeton - Realize it's a huge rivalry game and Princeton has been awesome recently. However, it's still a big rivalry and typically this game is close. Not 100% certain, but I know Penn would tie for the Ivy title and I believe have a playoff with a win. Going to back the Quakers getting a nice number and facing a Princeton team they already beat by 15.

Detroit @ Valpo - Crusaders getting a huge advantage playing this game on their home court. They have gone 14-2 SU @ home while Detroit has gone 5-8 SU on the road. I like this Detroit club and realize they're talented, but I'll be very surprised if they win this game. I realize it's tough to beat a team 3 times and realize Detroit has the better athletes, but this crowd will be absolutely crazy. Go Crusaders!

Valpo -2 for 5*

Villanova @ Rutgers - Both teams have been atrocious ATS and Nova just won @ Rutgers by 6 so the squares will be all over the Wildcats. However, the crowd will be pro-Rutgers and can't see backing Nova as a favorite over anyone right now. Rutgers has wins over Florida and UConn this year so they can step up... they played Syracuse very tough as well. Nova... they didn't really beat anyone and think they go down tomorrow.

Rutgers +2 for 5*

As a DePaul Alumni....they are very inconsistent. Good Luck with your play. I hour Purnell has them ready to win. I think the under may be the play here as well.

Thanks Cubs Fan... hoping DePaul comes ready, wish I had +10 or more now, but my fault for placing early.

Western Illinois @ South Dakota State - Realized SD State has gone 18-6 ATS this season and playing a home game is a huge advantage. However, WIU plays great defense and keeps games low scoring. Thinking this will be a grinder where 10 points is too much.

Western Illinois +10 for 5*

Western Kentucky vs. North Texas - Still undecided, but leaning Mean Green since it's 4th game in 4 days for WKU. However, Hilltoppers are 12-2 ATS their last 14 and really have been solid since changing coaches. Probably wait until closer to tip to play this game.

North Texas -2 (-120) for 5* - Tough to win 4 games in 4 days, but their previous 3 games have been down to the wire for WKU. Also, don't see many teams with 18 losses ever make the tourney.

Providence +6 for 5* - Hope the Big East tournament is in a dog friendly mood today!

Agree on WKU, but still like North Texas in this spot. They'll have some fans in the stands as well which helps.
