Came home just in time to see the Blues tie it up, and the Wild blow a 2 goal lead......minutes later the Blues win the game with 30 sec left in OT. To add insult to injury, I check the scoreboard to see that I lost every friggin game. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for the Wild and the Wings to blow their 2 respective 2 goal leads again. The pucks have not been bouncing my way lately, that's for sure.
Sorry, heleanth. I feel terrible when I lose, because I know I'm taking some people down with me along the way. I've lost over 25 Units in the last week and a half, so hopefully you tailed me way before that, and had a little extra to cushion the blow.
I did a quick search, and this is my record on a yr ago today......
64-51, +23.075 units
Not much off on Units, but only 115 plays last yr to this point, and I've already made 140 plays this yr:nono:. Another thing I've noticed is that I've made a lot more plays on the favs than I have before, which is a big no-no with the way I cap:nono:. I think I got a little TOO cocky thinking that I have this game figured out, and fell in love with playing too many favs. It's kinda like what Chenks was saying that he strayed from his system and got hurt by lack of discipline. I strayed from MY system of playing mostly dogs and it's evident that it was the wrong move. I thought about taking a few days off, but I'm gonna go back to the basics by making lesser plays and playing more dogs. If it doesn't work out, then I'll admit defeat and take a few days off to straighten things out.
4 games tomorrow, hopefully I can find a couple of winners for us
