damn Randercity. sorry i missed the invite...!!

finally found my thread..heh heh heh.

today's picks:

1) CHI-SOX -1.5 (+100) over Texas.

I can't lay -185 on ANY high home fav (unless it's RANDERCITY..errrr...Randy Johnson...otherwise know as the BIG JOHNSON...heh heh heh...love those
t-shirts..)
I think Myette's horrible ERA vs CHISOX is enough to warrent a -1.5 spread.
CHISOX have taken 4 of six from texas while only 1 of those games being decided by one run. Mr.Buehrle should pitch nicely tonite.
Hopefully Texas will stay true to their horrible road record and CHISOX are coming home after a long road trip (6 games) in which their confidence got better after a close series with Seattle.

2) seattle/boston under 9.5 -115

The under is 8-2 in Moyer's last 10 starts.
The under is 8-3 in Seattle's last 11 games on the road.
The under is 10-4 when Nomo starts at home.
The under is 6-2 in BOS's last eight overall.
Seattle is having trouble scoring runs at home, and now they're on the road...
Nomo...liking his ERA at home.
Nomo's career against SEATTLE:
W-L: 1-1
ERA: 4.24
G: 4
IP: 23.1
H: 24
ER: 11
BB: 13
SO: 22
although he has a high ERA, i like his strikeout per inning with one per inning...should be good tonite.

3) taking OAKLAND -1.5 (-120) vs the JAYZ
eek.gif

again, can't lay the high chalk, but Hudson OWNS tha JAYS:
W-L: 5-0
ERA: 2.23
G: 6
IP: 44.1
H: 31
ER: 11
BB: 9
SO: 36

and this is (CAPW-L: 5-0
ERA: 2.23
G: 6
IP: 44.1
H: 31
ER: 11
BB: 9
SO: 36

and this is (CARRPENTER)Sharpenteeay's record...
W-L: 1-2
ERA: 6.00
G: 5
IP: 33.0
H: 40
ER: 22
BB: 16
SO: 23

watch for Carpenter not to be able to get out of the first two innings...and the Jays to have another slow start to a game.

5) another HUGE selection:
taking L.A -1.5 (-110)vs MONTREAL (to get back three units)

Chan "where's my money, Ho" park is on the mound again, and well, the pitch better have my money tonite.
that's all I have to say about that game...
Tony Armas Jr, who?
all five of chan ho park's wins against montreal over the last few years have been my more than 2+ runs..his only loss came this year..but it was IN montreal....

Park is a different pitcher at home than on the road - can't imagine him giving up more than 3 runs tonite. Question is if the Dodger offense will show up. They have shown a tendency this year to feast on weak opponents like Montreal.

FOR THE CHICAGO WHO-SOX GAME:

We find Buehrle on the mound for Chicago for this home affair. He has been in great form while winning his last 3 starts and only allowing 2 Earned Runs in those 3 victories. Even better, in his 78 innings pitched at home this season, he has allowed only 29 Earned Runs. Expect nothing to change for him as we back the White Sox as they take on Myette, who has seen Texas drop 3 of his last 4 starts.

T.V i like your post on l.a montreal. Here some more info about armas, info from the expos site.
Montreal will send Tony Armas Jr. (8-11, 3.99) to the mound. Armas has lost his last three decisions and is winless in his last five starts.

The Expos have lost 11 out of 15 games Los Angeles has lost five of its last seven at home. The Expos won two of three from the Dodgers from May 15-17.
Dont think armas will last 8 innings tonight and with urbina in boston the relief is not that strong anymore for mtl.
Vidro will be out again(playing for <,250%) i think -1.5 is very probable. Not touching the over under , sow it at 7.5 just dont like it.
