still trying to claw back to get the 5 unitz back (of 12) that we had lost almost a week ago.

today's early leans:
i'll do some write-ups now since I have the time...

1) ARIZONA : HUGE
shilling's pitching, so that's a plus but even more so because Arizona has lost 4 straight at home, they have L.A and SF on their tail, and they need this win: badly.
I don't think it matters that MUNOZ is pitching well for the 'spos...this kid is just in a bad position at the wrong time. Munoz should get hammered in this one.
I might even put a little side wager on the -1.5 for arizona cause i'm confident this pick'll come through...as well, shilling had a bad outing last game so look for him to come back with a vengeance...again, expos are in a bad place at a bad time...Arizona should kill them in this one. Shilling is 14-9 with a 3.06 ERA career against Montreal. This is the first time MUNOZ is facing Arizona. Montreal is horrible in nite games..

anaheim/boston under : HUGE
two really good pitchers here with career ERA's of under 2.40 against their respective teams...and both offenses are stuttering these days...

NY and the OVER 10 (texas should be tired after that late inning game.)dunno if hitchcock is taking Lilly's place in the rotation today...if HITCHY is, take the Yanks, HUGE!!!!
TEXAS is 0-5 vs lefties on the road at nite!!!!

FLORIDA (dempster is 2-0 vs milwaukee)and let's face it Milwaukee still sucks...and Florida should snap their road losing streak here...

minny: esteban Loaiza...??c'mon, he'll give up 3 runs in the first two innings ALONE!!!
MAYS is pitching HOT right now...!!!

houston:after that pittsburgh fiasco...watch them get back on track tonite. I like the OVER as well...watch out for the bullpens here...someone's gonna blow a save or a close game in the late innings...
HOUSTON 5-2 vs lefties at home AT NITE....might go double on this game...

L.A ( don't know about that hot cinci team, they may have a letdown after they first home sweep of the season.
PROBLEM: GAGNE has a horrible ERA ( 0-1 5.59) against L.A. like the OVER in this game as well...

SF ( they MUST keep up the intensity...)

oak over clev : CLEV has a horrible MONEY home record (i've been beating that since last month..!!!) Lidle is turening into a solid pitcher these days...Westbrook...? well, got the win, but his ERA for that game was a 7.00.
