That's plenty for today after hitting narry a play yesterday. If I get slammed today I'll likely take it easy for Wednesday and Thursday as I think there'll be some good action for the weekend series' and I'll have opportunities annexed elsewhere also. Today I really like the Reds and the Mariners, especially, but I can't bring myelf to risk too much on either call. Just finished some week 4 NFL prep and I see several games where I'll be having heavy action, both faves and some dogs (likely make my first week 4 post tomorrow...smoked in week 3, despite missing yesterday, which I didn't post anywho), plus I'll be checking out the NCAA over the next couple of days for anything there. Means I'm going to have money floating around all over the place. More importantly, for our purposes here, I'm kind of anxious to see Wednesday's numbers as I'll likely have as much action as today for tomorrow's tomorrow (true contra-slammage) [[it is not dying...it is not dying...]]; I'm especially hoping for a decent line on the Brewers (Villaneuva v.Thompson OR Pineiro)?it won't be decent but I'll be into it for anything -170 or less?looks real hot, and will be even hotter if the Brewers continue their (current) dominance over the Cards today?Loopy wasn't so hot in his last but he can be dynamite when he eats his wheaties. No excuse for a Brewers loss today?kind of like the Tigers packing their season in yesterday?I know it was a real long shot to catch Nyy but you'd think they could muster a run or two at home and maybe give it a go, aye?...boys?...better luck next year. System sides went 0-6 on the day, which is the first time all season that something like that has happened; I'm just glad I wasn't into the board for too much. Comes at a time when system sides are (were) right near 60% for all games, which would be the first time that has happened this year (May was near 58 or 59, I think)?and would be pretty cool?so why all the misses on system picks?, of all the flippin' ones to be missing?!?!. At least totals will have a(nother) 60%+ month, easily, as they're already 23 games above .500.
A series price I like is the Rockies at +140 currently. They have a fair shot today, by what I've got, we're looking at Fogg-Lowe tomorrow, and Lowe was pounded in his last vs these Rockies (fairly recent), and on the 27th it's Morales, who's been phenomenal lately, facing a fading Loaiza; Dodgers can hit lefties pretty good so have a fair shot to hit Morales, but Loaiza has been crap so I expect the Rockies to have a good time in that one; just need one vs either Penny or Lowe?a tall order but looking kinda likely the way the Rockies are going.
Can't wait for Peavy's next start (actually it's tomorrow on the road to a fairly decent lefty in Misch?Pads been hitting lefties well all season but have been getting L's against L's (<L>)ately?Peavy burned from a W in his last start while throwing Peavy-ish so I can't see him losing this one, though I expect that Misch might make a game of it?I shoulda checked the ump already?might be a rock-solid under, or maybe the Giants team under (likely a 3) as, if we get a 7, or even a 7.5, there's no gaurantees that Misch can contain that; course?5-1 is still 5-1, ain't it?...could cash runline, team total and game total with a sweet score like that)..
Can't wait for the playoffs.
Can't wait for the '08 season.
