0-1-1 yesterday as overs have not treated me well lately. 17-14 overall. tor/nyy strand 17 and leave us hanging by the hook. anaheim makes the number in the seventh but quits on the push. splitting out the two dogs softens the loss for the day. for the early game:

pit/chi under 8-: pit 4-17 under on the road, teams 2-6 to the under last 8 mtgs. cubbies doing nothing against left hand starters, 1-6 this year home. both pitchers decent, especially given the opponents' recent hitting.

for any interested, cubbies so bad i have to make a play on the pirates +120. hard to see how chi should be favored against any decent lethander.

back later with the evening plays. g/l.

for tonight:

for tonight:

nym/phi under 8-: two pitchers with nice numbers across the board. mets really struggling to produce runs on the road, 8-14 under away, under 8 of last 10. d'amico under 7 of last 10 starts.

la/mil under 8: nice number to have with brownie on the mound rounding into form. dodgers 6-14 under on the road, scoring 3.1 rpg against righties. brewers 7-15 under at home.

pit/chi under 8- gm 2: same logic as gm 1. also, van vleet behind the plate, 0-4 under this year. while he is a first year ump with not much track record, he does appear to have a fairly big strike zone and this should help cruz, who is a young pitcher with good stuff that tends to be a little wild. fogg won't need much help. will play pit again if i get them at no worse than a pick.

kc/ana over 9-: i must be a glutton for punishment with these overs, but after playing the over last night i'd feel like a complete idiot if i didn't come back with it again tonight with kc's pitching situation.
