Watching news and reading the paper for 2 days--the Pio's want this game badly--they are focused and glad to be in the NIT. Will Ohio recover from 1-20 from 3 ball land vs the Zips?.

Same five guys that went to the sweet 16 last year and came within a point of beating NC in regulation for the elite 8. not the same team though with Groce moving on to Illinois and Christian taking over.

From what I saw Saturday there was a lot of quit in the Kitties. Denver would be wise to shadow DJ with some size as the Zips did. Akron had no less than a 6'7" guy out at the point of their defense all night long and Coop was clearly bothered. If you can disrupt DJ you can beat the Kitties, plain and simple. Offutt and Keely are really the only other threats to get off. Keely is tough and plays hard. offutt is streaky.

OU is very tough at home, losing only to Akron in MAC play but they are not the same bunch on the road. denver is very clearly a much, much better bunch now than they were earlier in the season and their defensive numbers look great. I think Den prob wins it but the number is too high for my blood.
