With BUCKNOR behind the plate... gonna go UNDER here, as I find it hard to believe that these two can continue to get 6 or 7 runs a game support. BUCKNOR 0-4 O/U when line is 10.5 or more, his games average just over 9 a game.

point of the post...staff is not being handled very well right now...in light of what they can call up....watch this series vs tigers....this weekend....might make the week

St Louis at SAN DIEGO

As noted on another thread, I've seen a reversal of fortune when the same two pitchers hook up, who just went head to head last week. NOT so much on the sides, as in the totals. Last week, STL won this matchup easily as STL pounded HERNDON for 11 ER and 9 hits in 3 innings!

They went on to win 13-3. I doubt if we see that type of game here... MORRIS has been stellar vs SD with a 3-0 mark and 1.97 ERA. HERNDON is 2-1 at home with a 1.71 ERA. The Pads were NO HIT again last nite, but that was vs a LEFTY, and they hit much better vs RH starters. STL is 9-1 at SD in last ten, and 19-3 OVERALL vs SD over the past three seasons. I have a hard time going against that sort of trend, so, what am I gonna do?
Tempted to take the UNDER here, but don't like the UMP that well for my UNDER, but I think we get a close game, so I'll take the HOME TEAM +1.5 runs.

Arizona at SAN FRAN

NO PITCHER can feel safe on this staff right now for DBACKS, not when a guy can nearly throw a NO NO and still not win! BULLPEN has been BULLS**T for AZ most of the year, but are really in trouble right now. WITT will not go more than six in this game, while SCHMIDT could go NINE vs this struggling to get a run DBACK team. IF not, his BP is in fine shape heading into this one, so look for an EASY, and I mean EASY SAN FRAN WIN! Took this one earlier at -160, but I would NOT be afraid of laying the RUNLINE on this one. The rested GIANTS should be up big time for this game...

Tampa Bay at SEATTLE

May be a little letdown coming in SEATTLE as they ecked out a 10 inning win last nite. I look for TBAY to hang with em again so I'm taking em on the RUN LINE. This game looks to be low scoring also, which always helps when getting the extra 1.5!

Baltimore at OAKLAND

I can't justify playing BALT, and I can't lay -250 on OAKLAND. I'm tempted to TAKE OAK on the RUNLINE with the ineptness with which the O's are scoring, they may get shut out tonite. BUT, I will take the UNDER. HP UMP is 4-1 O/U, but his only game with a quality starter ended 4-3 and stayed UNDER.

Things went my way tonite, except for the push on the TEXAS total. Could have had an even bigger nite had I played the OAK runline and STL UNDER I felt were the right side, but passed on. Nice to be back on TIGER's BOARD! I'll take it!
