MLB POST-SEASON 9-30 to 10-20

Tue Oct 1 8:05 pm

OVER 6 1/2 CINCINNATI/PITTSBURGH (1 unit)

CINCINNATI +120 (1 unit) Going with post-season savvy MGR and players that have been there, I know the home crowd will be into this one, but Liriano just can't shake the Reds whether at home or on the road, he pitches better at home, but still can't get the Reds out.

Just some stats ive come cross to help out

Liriano- 8-1 with a 1.47 ERA at PNC Park this year.

Three of the Reds top hitters -- Votto, Bruce and Choo -- are lefties and Liriano has been devastating against such batters this season. He's been the best in MLB at retiring left-handed hitters and that includes relief specialists. The line of opposing left-handers vs. Liriano: .131/.175/.146 -- .321. To give those numbers some perspective, here's the line of Clayton Kershaw, also a left-hander and the likely unanimous choice to win the Cy Young Award: .165/.224/.253 -- .477. In 130 at bats facing lefties this season, Liriano has allowed two extra-base hits, both doubles.

Vs Liriano - Shin-Soo Choo 6-31, .194
Joey Votto 2-10, .200

Jay Bruce 0-11, .000

Just passing along some statistics from the bucco side I came across. Maybe someone could post some reds stats that are similar to help everyone out.

Regardless of choice, good luck to all !
