xavier (+4) 1 unit. pretty basic here - i just think xavier is the better team. i am unsure of the motivation though... 10-15 years ago, a team like xavier would have been very fired up to get a chance against a middle-of-the-pack SEC team. now though? xavier has made a habit of making the sweet 16. and their next game is a big conference matchup against duquesne. could they actually be overlooking georgia? i just lowered the play from 2 units to 1 unit because of that possibility. i'm open to any thoughts on that theory.
central michigan (+12) 2 units. ugh. this is an 'i gotta do it' play that i hate to make, but usually hits. UB has been rolling the last few weeks. central mich... not so much. but here's the thing - according to sagarin, UB is 12.5 points better than CMU. BEFORE the homecourt is factored in. so for some odd reason, UB is laying about 4 points less than they should be. central mich has had a lot of success at UB lately, covering at least their last 4 trips there.
clemson (-8.5) 1 unit. clemson has covered 4 straight home games.
