From a very well respected capper I have followed for years :
How the Marlins got by Harvey with Fernandez last night may forever remain a mystery, but that does not explain why the Mets should bounce back with Hefner versus Slowey. Everyone loves the Mets offense that seems to pile up runs, but I have news for them. It is only against weak pitching they do that. The Mets are just 6-9 their last 15 in the 5 inning game versus righty and guys like Hefner are one of the reasons. April offense may give the fans some hope, but if you don?t have pitching you don?t have long term success and they definitely don?t have a viable pitching edge tonight. The Marlins are a better homer than the Mets are a roadie and have posted 2 straight wins as opposed to the Mets 5 straight losses. With the better starter on the hill, why are they the dog?
