news about fatigue factor

news about fatigue factor

subject: fatigue factors

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE FATIGUE FACTOR AND BIORHYTHMS
The long NBA basketball season can be a drain on the stamina of even the well conditioned players. The fatigue factor that the players experience comes to focus because of the rugged schedule. Each team plays 41 games on the road. It has occured where a team played five games in five different cities in seven days. Players wake up early in the morning to make flights for road games. The horrendous schedule my be a negative for the NBA players. However, it can be a positive situation for a handicapper that monitors the players' performance level and biorhythms.

The highs and lows, experienced by the players, can be predicted in advance by reviewing the biorhythms (life cycles that started the day we were born) of the key players. These energy levels will fluctuate from positive to negative throughout our lives.

Biorhythms consist of three cycles: the 23 day physical cycle, 28 day emotional cycle and 33 day intellectual cycle. The physical cycle helps determine one's physical strength, endurance and confidence. The emotional cycle helps determine one's cheerfulness, creative ability and moodiness. The intellectual cycle plays a part in one's ambition, intelligence and logic. Each cycle is divided in half. The first-half is positive and good for an athlete's performance level. The second-half is negative and the athlete's performance level can be affected by physical and mental errors. When the biorhythm cycles change from positive to negative or negative to positive this is a critical day. On this day a person possesses a high degree of uncertainty. Each cycle has two crtical days.

On November 2, 2002 the Knicks were playing their second game in as many days. The Knicks had traveled from Philadelphia back to New York to play the Celtics. The Celtics last game was on October 31. Several players for the Knicks were experiencing weak biorhythms.

The fatigue factor and weak biorhythms were evident as the Celtics prevail on the road.

with all due respect...

with all due respect...

"Do your homework" ?????

You post an article on biorhythms and then post two plays that go against the same biorhythms. And when someone asks where to go to see more info so he can actually try to feed himself, you tell him to do his homework??? Here are the plays according to chronobiology (related to biorhythms and yes they do win at a very nice rate). I get ticked off when someone asks for help and get a smartass remark, especially when they havent fully researched what they posted in the first place. I'm not bashing and good luck with any of your plays but who? should do their homework??? This place is for distributing information freely, otherwise you might be seen as trying to sell something.
