montreal with 2 goals in 38 mins was big swing for me bcoz had them for the under as well as in a parlay with ducks .. oh well a push is better than a loss

Mario and Kovolav seem to be out. This takes out a huge offensive thread from the Penguins. Ever since Mario has been out the Penguins have changed strategy and are paying much more attention to defence.

The new goaltender has been very good also.

Pittsburgh's last five overall have played under.
PIT has averaged 1.6 gls/g in its last five overall.
The last three meetings in Buffalo have played under.
The Sabres last three overall have played under.
BUF has allowed 1.2 gls/g in its last five overall.

In last 5 games Penguins have scored 1.6 goals per game
In last 5 games Sabres have scored 2.2 goals per game
In last 5 games Pens have allowed 1.8 goals per game
In last 5 games Sabres have allowed 1.2 goals per game

In last 5 games Pens Power Play is @ 5.3%
In last 5 games Sabres Power Play is @ 5.3%

In last 5 games Pens Penalty kill is @ 95%
In last 5 games Sabres Penalty kill is @ 100%

Some other pointers also but I think the Under has a good % of hitting.

NY Islanders Under 3 Goals

If the rivalry is supposed to be as good as i have read then we got a game here where there will be good defence from the rangers. Rangers dont have some defence personnel but have played good defence as a unit and have allowed only 2.0 goals per game on average in the last 5 contests.

Islanders have been averaging 3.4 goals per game .. very impressive right .. taking a closer look

In 2 games out of the 5 they have 4 and 7 goals against Atlanta.
3 against washington .. 3 against blues .. 0 against devils ..

Dunham has been playing well .. I expect Rangers to play a physical game and not allow a lot of shots on goal for the islanders ..

Islanders PP has been extremely good but hopefully the 88.3% Penalty kill of the Rangers in last 5 will compensate for that.

These are most of the points. Dunham in his four starts against the islanders has allowed 2, 1, 3 and 5 goals starting from most recent.

I think Rangers hold the Islanders to 2 goals in this one.

Atlanta more commited to defence. Blues in back to back. No time for writeup as have some work to do but I see around 5 goals scored. Blues defence has not been the same in recent games and hence I am more wary of the play.

Buffallo Sabres Under 3 Goals

Reasons are same as Under. I will go with the percentages.

$$$ I was down to the under in the atlanta game and leafs game. I was less comfortable with atlanta so had the play as small play. But it is something that I have to learn from where I made the wrong call pure and simple. Philly Under would still have been right call regardless of whether it goes over today due to the defensive play betn these two teams but philly's offensive outburst in recent times kept me from playing the game.
