Playoff record 34-25 +50.00 units (was at +85 units fawk)

This much I know.... Korny, Noall, Tm and all of the other Nucks fans will not be happy with this one.

I will say this, I would like to see the Nucks win the series- but a couple of things bothering me-

they were outplayed in both games at home- Cloutier is not dependable- I do not think Nucks are dsiciplined and Minny is all about discipline- Minny is TOUGH at home and I think Clouts might get a little rattled- Bertz only has 1 goal in the Playoffs- if Minny can shut down the number 1 line and stay out of the box they win-

At this price I have to take the Wild but not big- I will take Van in G3 if they lose because I think their intesity level will pick up as this series goes farther.....

Minny ML +115 500/545

Still going back and forth on the other one- The big X factor for me is Roman C- If he plays well they win but will he 2 games in a row???

You're right Chenker... I'm not happy with it.... LOL You make some valid points.... and I hate to be on the opposite side as you... however I feel that they pick up the Intensity for this game.... #1 they have given the Wild the lead and had to claw back in both games so far... Will not want to fall behind again... #2 that last play should have been a penalty shot.... #3 the chit that happened at the end of the game has just woken up the Canucks... they will come out hitting like they did with St. Louis.....

They know how tough that darn trap is and will come out playing like they did in the final 2 minutes of each game so far to start the game looking for that first goal... that is the key... Canucks get a lead and minny will have to abandon the trap to chase and thats where Van takes advantage....

Like I mentioned in Seekers post... I believe Van blows this one open... 4-1...... now if Minny gets that first goal again then it could be a whole diff game :p

I love the way minnys playing right now, great defense and great goaltending. Very consistant hockey.

I LOVE Philly tonight too. Did you see how pissed off Hitch was in his post game interview from game 2? Here is a very small briefing of what he was feeling:

(Hitchcock was also mad at what he perceived to be overly physical play by Ottawa, and threatened to take measures to match that style.

"We're playing a dirty hockey team," Hitchcock said, adding that he might dress tough guy Todd Fedoruk for Game 3.)

Hitch has also started his usual "coaching strategies" of expressing his displeasures with his teams play and calling out individuals for thier poor performances or lack of effort and intensity......which in game 2 worked after he called out Cechmanek for his poor performance in Game 1 (giving away a 2-0 lead). Just some of his latest remarks about his team as a whole

(The Game 2 victory, however, may not do much to lighten the Flyers' mood, especially Hitchcock's.

"I didn't think we played very well," he said. "I thought we played better in the first game. I don't think we played well until we got mad.")

This is the kind of team that WILL respond when they get MAD. Hitch is the kind of coach who will FIRE THEM UP and GET THEM MAD! I watched him do it for years with the STARS! Now Philly is at home with what will be a very loud, energized and enthusiastic crowd, and they now have HOME ICE in the series. They will need play from Cechmanek like that of game 2 but I think they will get it!
