Lets keep it goin' on Wednesday. Many of these games are crucial to the teams trying to make it into or to stay in the top 8 places in each division.
CRUNCH TIME - makes for some great hockey, and each little mistake is magnified. Good example is when Curtis Brown turned the puck over on a rush at the CAPS blue line tonight with about 3.5 minutes left. Caps took it the other way, and Biron let in a soft goal, to lose a game they had a 2-0 lead in. Was expecting a least an OT. Oh well.
Sabres could have come within 1 point of Montreal, as the HABS lost to FLA. Instead, Caps leapfrog into 8th place, ahead of the Habs.
Similar mistakes happened in the west coast games tonight, where the play-off situation is really muddled. Kings, #1 penalty killer, let in 3 PP goals tonight...
