*********Serious Note**********

This is a rare situation for myself, please do not look at this as a plea for pitty, but for prayers.

Last night I received a phone call from my mother stating that my father was diagnosed with cancer, (just stating that brings tears)as of right now it is considered a low grade carcinoma. He will have surgery this week, and then further tests to see if it has progressed. He was told about a year ago that it was eczema, thus it went untreated (properly) for a year.

I have always looked up to my father and to this day, I still view him through child like eyes! The crushing part is when you realize your hero is not invincible.

So if you find it within yourselves, please say a brief thought to the man upstairs on behalf of Mr. Toner, Sr.

I know exactly how you feel. I just lost my father March 3rd to cancer. Started out as prostate but went undetected thanks to the lab. By the time they figured out something was wrong it was spread throughout his bones. If you need someone to talk to feel free to e-mail me, I know how hard it is when you are very close to your father. It might help both of us to talk about it, my prayers are with your Dad.
