Keeping it local for two dogs tonight. 3*Tex+170. Yes I know Buehrle has been pitching great all year, especially his last three 3-0 0.71 ERA, two complete games. But he also leads the team in Innings pitched with 155 which is more than he has thrown ever before and it is starting to show with his declining strike out total. Myette is just hitting his grove also pitching excellent his last three games, but with alot fresher arm. Sox key bats have been ice cold and with them coming off an emotional series against Seattle which seen them win a game in the 9th, blow one in the 9th, and lose another heartbreaker 2-1. See them coming in flat for a home opener against Texas. Sticking in Chicago I will also make a 2*Cubs+160 play. Tavarez has pitched solid all year, people are just down on him for his last couple starts.(one being a game in Wrigley with the wind blowing out strong). Baylor was to put him in the bullpen, but with the injury to Wood forced to start him here, and a bad start here will send him right back there. Tavarez has good stuff but his problem is his head. Look to see a focused Tavarez to pitch a solid game in Enron. (These picks are not biased, I am a huge SOX fan and Hate the Cubs)
