this is why i stay away from everyday grind, I picked a few games for peanuts and here's my recap

* bet Nova, up 16 with 3 mins and have to cover a 4.5 teaserto Pats -1/2---sweat my ass off, game within 4 inside last minute couple times they pull it out

* bet seton hall ATS GOY etc etc, within 2 in last 2 minutes lose by 8--obviously never had a chance in hell to win this one :cursin:

* bet detroit--up 21 at half, 46-18 half and lose SU bet and parlay to tcu which won :cursin:

* bet UAB +5.5 2nd half, leads all the way, gives up trey, fouls on next trey, still up 1.5 with 20 secs and get shot blocked, then wild scramble and loose ball on arrow, then foul fr. who's 66% and makes both, then UAB down 1/2 pt jacks trey in final secs when 2 would help as much etc--misses of course so I lose by 1/2 :cursin:

i again ask, I dont know how anyone does this nite in nite out--impossible for minimum of 90% i think :cursin:

Lets first assume that someone is a good/solid handicapper. After that assumption, lets assume they do this night in night out. Without a doubt that person will suffer bad beats etc. They also will benefit from lucky breaks. Its just easier to remember or get angry about the bad beats because you lose $$$$. A person who does it night in night out is prob. using some type of money management so a bad beat here and there shouldn't hurt them in the long run. Hell, a bad week wouldn't necessarily hurt them in the long run. Problem is when people get bad beats, they often chase. Books kill the gamblers who chase losses. Simple as that.

All in all, if you are a good handicapper and play night in night out, & use some time of money management system, you should be ok. No guarantee of profits but a high prob. of not losing a high % of your bankroll. This is something you prob. know anyways but just thought I post it.

If you don't think you are a good handicapper, then you shouldn't be upset about losing your money gambling.
