Up over $7400 in December.
Tulsa -140 1400 to win 1000
Tulsa -1 1st half 550 to win 500
Tulsa under 38 1st half 550 to win 500
Ball state will not be ready to play!!!
The first practices for the team since the MAC title game loss will be Dec. 19-21. Players will go home for Christmas after that and return to campus Dec. 27 to continue preparations for the bowl game.
"There will be about two weeks between the MAC title game and the resumption of practice, and the players need that time to clear their heads. The season was a grind and the MAC title game loss was devastating, so the time off should help the Cardinals as they look forward to the bowl game." quote from head coach
Defense: The Cardinals try to neutralize offenses up front in their 3-4 alignment and let numerous playmakers at linebacker and in the secondary be game-changers. Ball State leads the MAC in interceptions with 16, and it is the No. 2 defense in the league in points allowed (18.6) and No. 3 in total yards (347.9).
Matchup To Watch: Tulsa?s running game against Ball State?s defense?Ball State coach Brady Hoke believes every game is decided in the trenches, and his No. 1 goal on defense each game is to stop the run. That will be a challenge with the Tulsa running game. The Golden Hurricane lead Conference USA in rushing at 254.8 yards a game. Other than Navy?s triple-option attack, Tulsa will be the best rushing team Ball State has faced.
Here is what happens when a good team plays a weaker conference as illustrated last year.
Tulsa beat Bowling Green 63-7 in last season?s GMAC Bowl. It was the largest margin of victory in bowl history, topping Alabama?s 61-6 win over Syracuse in the 1953 Orange Bowl.
Ball State is 0-6 in bowl games. The Cardinals lost 52-30 to Rutgers in last season?s International Bowl despite getting three TD passes from Davis.
This game has blowout written all over it if Tulsa shows up.
Good Luck,
Dugan
