Tulsa -21 over North Texas ***** strong play
NT was blown away by KSU last week 45-6.What made that game strange in the eyes of the Mean Green was Dodd ran the ball instead of the spread pass attack..many think he just gave up and didn't want to show tulsa anything...but its NT defense that is the real problem .They were last in the nation lyr and this year even worse.Hard to believe but true..They gave up 306 in the air and another 165 on the ground..in comes Tulsa who gained over 600 yds over UAB last week.Tulsa returns 9 off. players.They lost Smith at qb but Johnson has taken over. he lite up UAB going 20-24,3 td's and 330 yds.Tulsa OL will gaive him protection all day.NT has no pass rushers,can't stop the run,young DB's....Johnson will pick them apart and Clay the H-back could have huge numbers on the ground..NT offense should do a little better vs a tulsa D that let UAB gain over 400 yds..
Game is in Denton and NT in the past years has had good sucess vs non-conf teams...but Fouts field is no real home advantage..bleachers are far away with a track around the football field...maybe 10-13,000 will go to the game...maybe a lot less????
Tulsa wins by 25-30 pts...Tulsa should score over 50 pts..NT maybe 17-20...
West Virginia -7 over ECU ***** strong play
I have this line in double digits...ECU is coming off one of its greatest wins in years over VT..heads still swollen...WV defense is so fast...ECU offense will have trouble moving the ball.Pickney is a tough qb that is mobile.But running game is avg and Wr's are pretty good.Think wv defense shuts them down or slows them down.
WV offense with White is explosive.Good WR's that can run after catch...Devine is a break a way runner. ECU DL is solid but CB's are questionable..LB's played great vs VT.ECU offense couldn't score vs VT..so many times they lost great oppurtunitys to score...vs WV they won't score....
I think WV can win this by 2 or 3 td's...plus Holtz has a viral infection in his throat..he can't talk...coming off a big win,defense in question,and the voice of the team silent...pirates are in trouble... my son agrees also and he is a "homer".

giving up that many pts on the road wories me at first but..no matter.UTEP gave up 42 pts to buffalo..they will give up 55 pts to Texas...Colt can score via the air or ground...55-14
Wake forest -7.5 over Miss ***
Stanford +14 over Zona St **
UConn -6.5 over Temple ****
Huskies are so much better...Temple offense is avg..defense is good. Conn has Brown who should run all over the Owls.
