Days like this make me think about gambling. Shouldn't I be thankful enough that I have my health, a job, a place to live, and a loving family? Wouldn't my time and money be better served doing something else? Is it selfish for me to bet on sports games? This is something that I struggle with daily, and probably will for the rest of my life, whether I am winning or losing. The thing of it is, I don't know if anyone else feels this, but when I am on the winning side of a bet the feeling I get is hard to duplicate. I guess in the end that trumps everything else, at least for the meantime. So anyway one thing I am very grateful for is this web site, and the very cool people that post their plays here. I hope everyone has a good holiday and gets to spend some time with their friends and families. It seems trivial but for what it's worth here is what I am playing in the early game:
GB -3 (-125)
I can give a million reasons why they should cover, but this is the NFL and anything can happen. I will say this though, the Lions lack of a rushing attack combined with a weak pass defense iand a Pack team that has been winning ATS on the road is why I like the Packers in this spot. GL everyone!
