The Yankees are what is wrong with sports today.
On the postgame on TBS they were talking about who they are going get to buy to get to the pennant for next year.
Cashman has to be the worst GM ever in the history of baseball.

that was the biggest 6 game ass kicking i've seen in a long time
the rangers basically won 5 of the 6 games, and the series was really never in doubt.
pitched better, fielded better, ran the bases better, hit better in all areas (power, clutch, etc)
good luck to them, they're going to see MUCH better pitching than they've seen in the ws

That is what is wrong with baseball because of turds like you and the Yankees organization.
I am sure I am older than you, but when Major League Baseball was the National Pastime it was because teams had Minor Leagues and players went through the organization and TRUE fans could follow their teams.
Now when the teams with money do not have to develop their minor leagues and just pick whoever they want. That is not right for the good of the game.
Let me preface this whole thing by saying that I was the biggest Yankee fan ever, but when Steinbrenner took over I could not even condone the things that he did.
I know I am old school. But I remember when baseball was our national pastime. Not anymore. You can thank the Yankees for that.
If money buys championships why aren't the yankees in the world series this year because they lost to a better team.....this is a bad argument IMO.....I would like to know the giants payroll I also believe the yankees are great for baseball because so many people hate them......hate is also a strong emotion that will make fans watch and enjoy watching them lose....like you for instance against the rangers

I read some article before the series started and the writer said the all the yankees should have to do to win is throw their pin striped jerseys on the playing field at Arlington.. What a joke.
A few years back my soon to be wife took me to a yankess game. I was so excited! Turned out to be a miserable experience. The fans are so smug they enjoy the smell of their own farts! I couldnt enjoy the game with all the people talking shit to me the entire time.

I am bored at work so I will comment.. Does moneyy buy championships?? I sure as hell helps.. It did last year.. The Yanks were able to bring in CC, Burnett, and Tex in the same year.. I mean if that is not buying it then I don't know what is?? Yes they still have those players and didn't get there but the Yanks are getting oder. Jeter is a shell of himself and the ONLY WAY the Yankees can get back into the playoffs next year is if they get Lee and some younger players.. If that is not buying it then what the hell is.. I just think it is crazy for Yankee fans to think that money doesn't help em.
