TV Land Awards (damn, i'm getting old)

Has it really been 35 years since this came on........was one of my faves as a 9-10 year old.

Is it not weird that a TV channel has its own awards show for shows that have been off the air for 35 years???

Does seem pretty silly to give em a trophy; i guess its the easy way to get the stars of the shows to attend, by telling em they've won an 'award'.:shrug:
