trying to hide their disappointment that this hurricane isn't doing the damage they had predicted

although this goofball weatherman on CNN is still optimistic that there is going to be major flooding as far as 500 miles away from the storm :mj07:

Just saw report where it hit west of NO as catagory 2 instead of 4 Jack--as you say other than for media--great news.
One down-one to go.

You appropriately said "TV" station and not "News" station. Everything is so sensationalistic now that it's hard to decipher the truth.

If they would take OReilly, Olbermann, Anderson Cooper, Larry King and Geraldo and ship them as fara way from tv cameras as possible the world would be such a better place.

From what little I've seen of him, Anderson Cooper seems allright. Is that a bad assumption??

Really don't watch enough, though.

He is just a whining sniveling opportunist.

Heaven forbid somebody just give us the news without all their spin and other nonsense.

7 or 8 years ago there was a "flood" in our community. Yeah there was some water flowing down one of the roads on the outskirts of town.

When I saw the story on the local news show, man, it looked like a raging river at least 50 yards wide....so it also depends on the camera lens and angle the assholes use to film in order to make things look like a bigger deal than what it is....
