TWINS/MARINERS Under 8 -105 - These clubs went Over last night, but that snapped a string of 6 consecutive Unders in the head to head series. Franklin has been surprisingly steady as a member of the Seattle rotation, posting a 3.67 ERA with a good 1.26 ratio in 9 starts, covering 56.1 innings. Most impressively, he has allowed 3 runs or less in 7 of his last 8 starts! Reed is also coming around after a slow start, allowing 3 runs or less in his last 4 starts and recording 5 Quality Starts in his last 6 outings. He has been masterful in his last 2 starts vs. Seattle, allowing exactly 1 run in each start while going 7.1 and 7.2 innings respectively. Finally, these are also 2 of the better bullpens in the American League, which also helps the Under?s cause. In fact, the Twins now lead the AL in bullpen ERA at 2.44, while the Mariners report home 3rd at 3.39.
