No wonder why nearly all my UConn buddies want Kevin Ollie out. I thought the Huskies might be turning the corner recently, but this team stinks. And Memphis was coming off a nice win at Temple. Bad capping on my part. Ollie will be gone at the end of the year, I'm thinking. UConn won't be nationally relevant again (in mens's hoops!) unless they join a major conference and can recruit studs again. Coaching change needed, though.
Bruce Weber and co. had a nice gameplan vs. Trae Young tonight. Really slowed him down out of the gate and set the tone early. I'm usually not a Weber fan, but I liked KSU in this spot.
