I don't know what happend to my post from yesterday. I actually did a big write up on two games and after looking back this afternoon I see that it didn't post. I don't know if I just didn't hit send after doing a spell check or what. Anyway I had two plays last night going 1-1 as Notre Dame just flat out fell apart in the second half and couldn't hit anything. Texas Tech looked great as I thought they would with Knight vs Fisher on National TV. I had previously pointed out that last week was our first week to lose units and it was a bad one as we lost 12 units on a horrible week....It is my goal to make those 12 units up and then some this week, so I will be working extra on all the games. In the past my best work comes with conference play and it is here my friends.

Last night

Texas Tech -4.5 5 units (W)
Notre Dame +5 2 units (L)

Todays Plays

Marq -1 5 units

(I know that they have struggled on the road and
with a loss here they will have lost 3 in a row on
this road trip, but Marq. has beaten St. Louis 4
straight and with their latest 14 spot drop in the
polls they will be looking to take out some frustra-
tion on St. Louis. I am not impressed with St Louis
at all. Marq leads in almost every stat category. I
see a very comfortable double digit win here!)

Illinois -2 bought the half 5 units

(Big Ten play starts tonight. My favorite
conference and the one that I study the most.
It is very tough to win on the road in the Big Ten,
BUT here I feel we have 2 different level of
teams. Minny will get in the tourney and may
make a little noise but they are not there yet.
They make too many mistakes and comit to many
turnovers. Look for Illinois' full court pressure D
and quickness to exploit Minny as well Cook to
give Rickert problems on both ends of the floor.
Illinois has won 8 straight vs Minny including 3
last year.....and I feel this Illini team is better
then last years. I can see a double digit win
here as well.

Northern Arizona +5 2 units (wrong team favored here, N.
Arizona wins outright.)

I'm like you Wrecker, Marquette should have there way easy. But it seems like St. Louis always finds a way at home to get the W. It's very tempting though.
