And the Sunnis blowing up 126 people yesterday at markets. Things are simmering down, it seems.

Great Moments from Meet the Press:

Russert: Do you think the American People are prepared for a long, costly, and bloody battle?

Cheney: I don't think its likely to unfold that way, Tim, because I really do believe that we will be greeted as liberators.

The few times Cheney has emerged from his bunker  to make a statement in last 6 years, he's been proven utterly wrong on anything that comes out of his mouth. He's a disgrace.

Just follow the money trail its not that hard to figure out Buddy. The problem is the typical american can't fathom a person or group of people being this rotten so they just believe the WMD theory or whatever the other 12 were.

"the bunker"
this useless post........it's called hyperbole......it's a "sometimes" legitimate tool employed by writers....

in this case,i guess this is what would be called the domestic moonbat surge?......

nice post buddy........i`m beginning to believe that you actually may be a bit unhinged.....but,you are under duress...i understand......i forgive you....

just as there was increased murderousness in iraq prior to the elections last year in a desperate--and, unfortunately, somewhat effective effort to influence the u.s. election, the surge in overheated anti-bush/cheney rhetoric is intended to recapture the ground the democrats are losing.....

despite all the cut-and-run rhetoric, despite all the wails of "quagmire," you moonbats don`t have a solid backing for your program of scuttling out of iraq,do you?.....

guess not...despite your congressional majority, you do not have the guts to openly stand up and challenge bush and the surge....your guys are trying to achieve the result of undercutting the war effort while evading any responsibility for it.....

another shocker...

as you guys try and have your cake and eat it,too, support for your position is slowly dribbling away.....

despite sympathetic voices in the news and entertainment media, academia etc,, a current congressional majority, the "moral campaign" of intimidation over howl gore`s supposed climate change....there are still many, many people who viscerally understand that the program of the left means them no good.....

and the left can feel it..... you can see it posts like these....

gee, kosar you really cut and run rather quickly on that"give the surge a shot" and "let them own it" rhetoric.....

btw....violence is way down....al sadr fled to iran....and we haven`t even deployed fully yet.....

call me naive, but i`m rooting for us to succeed....

classic gardeweasl post. let's see - he used:

2 big words (hyperbole and viscerally)
moonbat (twice)
howl gore
academia
possibly one made up word (murderousness ...if not, it should be)
rhetoric (3 x)

plus, he predictably:

twisted the war failure onto the dems
twisted the war failures onto the media
accused critics of undercutting the war effort
brought global warming into it
talked down to his audience yet again

All of your posts are the same, weasel. The scattered ramblings of a scared little man. Lashing out at others, accusing them of rooting against our country just because they are fed up with the way this administration has performed.

Fathom for a minute-- the wailing- had this crew been around during Korean war--or any other.

Gents pick up a few signs-- send in your code pink donations--and do something for your cause.

--and leave the whining to those making the sacrifices.

Ummmm, no I haven't. I am all for giving this 'surge' a chance. A last chance. Give W what he wants, and another 9-12 months, and no matter what at that point, get the f*ck out.

BTW-Al-Sadr fled to Iran long before this 'surge' was announced.

Violence is way down? Ok, whatever.
