Was at the braves game thursday night and the little girl that sang the National anthem was fighting cancer. It was an emotional thing and I assure you the roaring round of applause she recieved for 2 minutes or so is not done justice by the video. I could have left directly after the anthem and gotten more than my monies worth. I saw this story that involved a connection to a brave today and also thought it was cool. Doesnt take very much to have a huge impact on another persons life!

If interested here are both stories

Had tears flowing through the whole anthem what a wonderful girl she is. She looks like a fighter and will take this dreaded disease on like a champ. I pray that god will help her to get rid of this and let her live a long life. Great job with the national anthem what a strong girl she is :0074

We are so sorry to hear that our sweet friend Lily Anderson lost her long and brave battle with cancer last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Since I posted this over a year ago I have found myself going back and watching it from time to time when I am feeling sorry for myself. Just another punch to the gut after this weeks happenings when I saw that she had passed. Rest In Peace Lily and thank you for helping me be better person.
