Some what sad how much glory folks were throwing around when we had the big guns and tommies just a dropping all over Iraq. Reporters every where. Searching hard for any kind of story.
Now we lose two more GI's. They get about 30 seconds. I mean it gets repeated during the day. That same story. But about 30 seconds, that's all they get. We left a bunch of good people in a carbage pit. We seems to be good at doing that. Don't matter whos in the White House. They been better becoming POW's. They get more coverage and honor that way.

This is the reality of the situation The Radical Right Wing Press that is shaping this countries opinions doesn't find any glory in the death of two soldiers that is not surrounded by Shock and Awe or a catchy catch phrase. They still haven't said how we plan on turning this cesspool into a democraic country or what the timetable is yet. Shock and Awe? You bet it is.

Geez....turning around the Iraqi political climate is going to be a cinch after someone figures out how to turn around their economic climate. Seems I read somewhere that 3 out of 4 Iraqi people were employed by the Iraqi government prior to the war. How are we going to change/fix that? That's a tough situation. The personal economic satisfaction of the Iraqi people will determine their ultimate relative satisfaction with their 'liberation'. Sure seems like an uphill battle.

If thats true it should have been taken into account before we went over there. We should have had a solution ahead of time.......

Our ideas on what and how seem to be slipping. We were so dead sure Iraqi's were going to line up and kiss are hands everyday. And of course the WMD were just every where. Some day we might find out what this was all about. And why it took 20 years to deside it was important.

I was under impression that after 911 he pledged a war on terrorism with Iraq being one of the keys.Is it my imagination that there have been some very significant changes in Saudi-Iran-Syria and now peace negotiations in Isreal/Palestine???
Of course just in beginning stages and may be total flop but possibilty exists that his prior nomination for Nobel Peace award may end up being a reality.--and then again could have severe egg on face. Time will tell. One thing is for cetain it was not a middle of the road stance. It appears many other countries are now joining the fight against terrorism, however imho it is not so much what Bush has done, but grave error in judgement from terrorists in including other Muslims as targets.

DTB I guess by biggest problem is. I just don't trust Saudi. Im sure they will do just enough to keep us off there putts. But I can only wish we had brought the hammer down on these boys fast.
In Iran we can hope the over throw will come form with in. We may never have to fire a shot. Can we catch that big of a break. I sure hope so. As for a nomination for a peace award. I never did understand how some get nominated. I mean we have not been close to peace since 9/11. In the past also some strange folks have been placed in high regard. Some times it looks like if you start something. Then end it with peace thats good enough. I hope were headed for some peace and quiet.
